Extended Stay America Suites - Las Vegas - Valley View

Dennis and Dianna at the front desk were wonderful when I arrived. The king suite I’d booked was full, so they upgraded me to a lovely two-bedroom room. I work for the company in Denver Colorado, and I have to say this is a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. A woman with long hair came in around 5 PM, and though I didn’t catch her name, she was pleasant and helped with everything I needed. I’d absolutely stay here again if I come back to Vegas.

It was our first time here, and we were surprised by how clean, nice, and quiet the place was. The room was spotless when we walked in, even inside the cabinets. Check-in was quick and easy. My only change would be better water pressure in the shower. Everything else was great!

The location was good, but it didn't make up for the condition of the place. The lobby was the only clean area. Furniture in the rooms was falling apart, doors jammed, and the promised kitchen supplies weren't there. No one came to clean during our stay, and there were no cleaning supplies. We had to take towels and sheets to the lobby for washing, which took 4 to 6 hours. On our last day, they gave us mats instead of towels. We’d also been told to come back at 9 pm for sheets and pillowcases, but they weren’t available. The furniture was dusty, and anyone with cat or dog allergies should be careful. I was taking Benadryl throughout the stay. Some employees were wonderful, while others were rude. I've stayed at several Extended Stays, and this was the worst one I've paid to stay in. Avoid it.

This is a no-frills place that’s easy on the wallet, and for the price, I thought it was a solid stay. I'm from Vegas, and there are hotels on the Strip that aren't as clean. I'd choose this over Circus Circus or Luxor any day. The location is convenient, and the room was surprisingly quiet, with comfortable beds. The fridge and microwave were spotless, and there were no visible bedbug signs or stains on the beds. The showerhead had a lot of hard-water buildup, which we scrubbed off with one of their towels. That was the only thing that made me uncomfortable. Ena, the woman who checked me in, was very nice and helped while dealing with unhappy customers asking for new rooms. That worried me at first, but our room turned out clean and put together. You get what you pay for, and it wasn't bad. I don't know why people come to Vegas, stay in one of the rougher areas near the Strip, and expect a luxury resort for what they're paying. We've stayed at worse hotels.
