I paid $240 a night for what felt like a Motel 6, and prices have gone up even though nothing has been updated. The pool was closed, the carpets were deeply worn, and breakfast was sparse. This place used to be a gem.

I've never had this much trouble checking into a hotel. The staff were rude and really unprofessional. Don't book here.

The water pipes made an annoying squeaky, whistling sound, and the hotel is badly outdated. There isn't much choice around, which seems to be the only reason it's still open. They don't take pride in keeping the rooms updated. Next time I'll stay in grand forks. I'd drive an hour for a better hotel.
