Getting my pillow back after I left it there was like pulling teeth. I called the next day to ask them to box it so I could ship it home, but they never returned it and now say it was thrown away. Customer service was horrible. During my one-night stay, the sheet and thin bedspread looked like they hadn't been washed in years. The front desk did have a newly washed blanket, which was the one nice thing. The door didn't fit the frame, and the frame was loose all around with screws missing. I'd get better at a Motel 6, which isn't saying much.

The room was disgusting, and I had to clean the fridge before I could feel comfortable putting food in it. Half the outlets didn't work, which makes me think there could be wiring problems, and we found bed bugs. The staff were horribly rude and racist. I'm fairly positive the hotel caters to dangerous tenants, since it looked like everyone staying there was on drugs, and no, I don't mean marijuana. It's cheap, but spend the extra few dollars and stay elsewhere. It's worth it.

For about $75, plus a $15 pet fee they don't mention until check-in, it comes to $90 a night. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke, the beds were busted and sagging, the bath wouldn't drain well, the faucet was loose in the wall, the door handle was loose, and the wood floors were dirty. On the plus side, the shower had strong pressure, the bed was comfortable despite being busted, pets are allowed, and there was a mini fridge and microwave. It's close to sightseeing points, and the rest was typical low-price motel stuff. I don't usually expect much from a cheaper motel, but this time I wasn't very pleased, especially since the price wasn't especially low.

We lasted 15 minutes before asking for a refund and finding somewhere else for the night. Drug deals were happening right outside our door, and there were drug baggies and pills under the bed. We had our dog and cat with us in this pet-friendly room, so we were glad to check before they got into any of it. There were holes in the ceiling and the bathroom was filthy. The man at the desk kept offering other rooms and brushing off the complaint like it was okay. We didn't feel safe or clean there. Absolutely the worst place I've stayed. You get less than you pay for, even though it's the cheapest place around. Don't waste your time or money.
