Heritage Inn Grand Prairie

Roaches were crawling on the floor when I walked into the room, and there were bugs and stains on the bed. The bathtub had dirt and hair in it too, making this the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I asked for my money back, but the lady yelled, “You got what you deserve, hon!!!!!”

The management team has been sincere, caring, and polite, and the maids work every day to keep things clean. I’ve even seen them still working at 9-10pm. The rooms aren’t the best I’ve seen, but they’re remodeling, and from what I’ve seen, it’s going to be awesome. It’s also cheaper than almost every hotel within 5 miles. Give them a chance and you’ll be satisfied, unless you’re that uptight, in which case maybe you should’ve stayed home. And really, if you piss someone off, how can you expect politeness back?

Everything was nasty, including the bathroom, and I found bugs in the bed. The sheets definitely didn’t look washed. Maybe there’s a cleaning crew, but they don’t seem to know what clean means. There’s a paper sign saying no refunds after ten minutes. Unless you walk into the room with a blue light to inspect it, you won’t get your money back. This was one of the nastiest places I’ve ever tried to stay. I’d never recommend it unless you want to leave with something you can’t wash away. GROSS.

When I went into the room I’d asked for, the sheets had crusty, hard stains on them. I requested a different room, but the woman at the window yelled no, then said I’d get a full refund. Wild that they’d rather lose the money than give a paying customer a clean room. Don’t go unless you like being treated badly and getting a dirty room.
