Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Prairie North

Room 153 has vinyl floors instead of carpet, and the room was clean with no odor. It was easy to get to, breakfast was standard American fare, and I'd recommend it.

We came to the area for the Texas Trust CU theatre, which is nearby. The room was clean, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay.

The manager was rude when I asked about the waffle maker, snapping back instead of helping. Breakfast was a letdown, and the damp, musty room made it hard to rest because the AC barely worked. The old bedding and sheets felt rough and didn't seem clean. I stayed one night with my kids, and this was honestly the worst hotel experience I've had. The motel is old and run down, nothing like the clearly Photoshopped pictures on the website. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for a family. It may be cheap, but it isn't worth it. Spend a little more for somewhere cleaner. Don't stay there. Run.

We needed extra bedding and towels, and the staff were amazing about getting them for us. When we found the TV wasn't working after coming back to our room fairly late, someone from the front desk was there within minutes to fix it. The hotel is being renovated, though it caused minimal inconvenience. The property manager, I think, was super helpful with everything we needed. All the staff were pleasant, knew the area, and gave us customer service well above what we expected. We'll absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the area.
