There were a few things I should have checked more carefully before booking, and that's on me. But what I found was basically a room with a kitchenette, a fridge, and two burners, with nothing else for cooking: no pots, pans, dishes, dish liquid, or even paper towels. There's no breakfast, coffee, or pool. The linens were the worst I've had in a hotel. They kept slipping off the bed and felt scratchy, and there was no conditioner. You can hear through the walls, and I kept smelling weed now and then. The cleaning staff had us take our own trash out, which I've never been asked to do anywhere. One weekend, I went to bring down towels and got a very sassy response from a woman who told me to go back upstairs because they don't take towels until 2pm. You also have to use an app to do laundry, and the facilities only take payment through the app. Staff were rude and weren't even around for you at night. It felt like someone had designed this place to run with as little hands-on service as possible to keep costs down. The hotel experience is supposed to include hospitality, and I didn't find any here, just disrespectful attitudes. It felt like living in a glorified apartment with almost no amenities, for not much less than a regular hotel. They called it a "budget" hotel. I paid 70$ using a special app, while the Google price was 107$. Staybridge is 120, has everything you need, operates like a normal hotel, has a pool, and the rooms are nicer overall. The pros: it was clean and gave us a roof over our heads. That's about it. It wasn't worth the price. Just stay at the stay bridge.
