We had a reservation made almost two months ahead for Memorial Day weekend, but the staff cancelled it on the spot and said it wasn’t a good fit. We’d come 150 miles for an event, and there were no other hotels available because of the event and holiday weekend. It was a 90 plus degree day, and after being outside we wanted to relax in the air-conditioned room and swim. The pool was filthy and unavailable, and no one had told us it wouldn’t be ready. I was upset, but tired and hot, and tried to talk it through rationally. I explained we’d traveled that day and were cranky, but that shouldn’t have been enough to cancel us. He said he’d refunded my money. We had to drive all the way back to Eugene that night and missed the event’s second day. They ruined our whole weekend. I would not recommend this place at all.

The pillows were flatter than I like, but at least they were clean. Honestly, everything was impressively clean for a 1 star hotel. The linens were fresh, the sheets looked new, and even the room smelled clean. My flip flop went under the nightstand by accident, and it was clean under there too, which is unusual at inexpensive places. The room was in good repair despite the building being older. The manager on duty was polite and helpful, and housekeeping did an awesome job. We were riding from CA to OR and just needed an inexpensive place to shower and sleep. This owner deserves an award for a 1 star hotel!

The owners’ attention to detail in the room shows they’re trying hard to give guests a good experience, and I noticed. It’s a great room for a great price, and the motel deserves a higher rating. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, and the room had a/c. I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends traveling.

The traffic is right around the property, but turning on the fan made the noise manageable. Inside, the decor was modern and soothing, and the room, towels, and bedding were very clean. The night manager was efficient and courteous, and the price was reasonable. This place is lovely. Recommend!
