Quality Inn

It’s handy to the freeway, the hotel is clean, and the Continental breakfast is nice. Staff were pleasant, though be aware they can decide to trespass you on a whim. There’s some transient activity around the area. Drug use seems tolerated, though mostly frowned upon, depending on your bankroll. It’s 420 friendly, but only outside since this is a non-smoking hotel. Very pet friendly, too.

The front desk had stacks of paperwork with guests’ personal and credit card information because their card processing wasn’t working. The clerk said we’d get a refund since we didn’t stay, so fingers crossed. The place itself was filthy, worn out, and in disrepair. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in.

The convenient location was about the best part, though there wasn’t much nearby to see or do. My room was small and basic, with signs of wear and few amenities. The view was nothing special either. There was a little spa area and a restaurant, but both were average at best, and the facilities overall were limited. Staff were polite, but not especially attentive, and check-in dragged. It was okay as a budget place to sleep if you don’t expect much. I wouldn’t choose it for a comfortable or enjoyable stay.

We got almost no sleep. The bed sat several inches below the nightstands and was awful, and the loose carpet looked dirty. The room was grimy, had just one lamp and no extra chairs, fridge, microwave, or coffeemaker. We’d booked well ahead and still got this terrible room. There was hardly anything out for breakfast. They didn’t seem surprised when we canceled the next night, and we went to an Airbnb instead.
