Hilton Garden Inn Grapevine at Silverlake Crossing

This is the worst Hilton I've stayed at. I've been a Hilton Honors Diamond member for ten years, and if you expect stay benefits, forget it. Parking is free, but that's where the positives end. The $10 daily credit doesn't even cover breakfast, and the snacks sold by the desk are overpriced. Free coffee at the front desk was discontinued during our stay. There was a Keurig in the room, but who knows when, if ever, it had been cleaned. The beds weren't comfortable. The workout room was adequate, nothing special. I'd strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

After calling more than ten times to request an airport pickup and getting no answer, I arrived by taxi. When I complained that nobody had picked up the phone, the female front desk clerk was very rude. She said she'd gone to the other building to handle a situation and that taking a taxi had been better and faster because their van had just left.

The rooms weren't as clean as they should have been, but the two hosts I encountered, one at the breakfast buffet and one at the onsite restaurant, were lovely. I'd definitely dine at Vine 52 again.

The rooms were extremely clean, the food was great, and customer service was great too. The bar had run out of everything and hadn't been restocked.
