Gray Inn and Suites

The pool was nice, and the staff were friendly, with no issues there. The first night our room and the hallway were hot, though the hallway air was fixed by the second night, thank goodness. I also saw a white roach outside. The rooms smell old, like mold or something. With no gym or elevator and the state of the building and rooms, we won’t be coming back.

The rooms are overpriced, and check-in was unfriendly. I asked for a first-floor room, but was told there weren’t any, even though there were 10 cars in the parking lot. I don’t recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our couple of days here. The staff were polite, welcoming, and very friendly, and our room was clean. We’d definitely look forward to staying again if we have another business trip in the area.

This visit went better than my first two stays, which weren’t good. My husband persuaded me to give it another try, and I’m glad I did. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the white towels smelled fresh. Tonya at the front desk was sweet and attentive. There are new owners, and I hope they keep working to improve the hotel. It still needs some TLC and repairs, plus a few bells and whistles, but the experience was better. Maybe next time I can give it five stars.
