Central Motel Great Falls

We felt extremely uncomfortable here, and the place shouldn't be listed for travelers. The website photos don't represent the actual hotel or area. The parking lot was full of garbage, dark, and had questionable figures hanging around, so we stayed up checking on our vehicle through the night. The room's cable didn't work; the maintenance person said the owner knew about the problems but didn't want to spend money fixing the rooms. Cleanliness was very questionable, and the service or maintenance person seemed unprofessional, unkempt, and dirty, which made me uncomfortable when she came into our room. The website suggested breakfast, but none was available, and we wouldn't have eaten there anyway. The hotel should be condemned.

We were checked in by the owner or manager after 11:00 PM, which earned the one star. The area wasn't great, though not terribly bad, and the owners were nice. But the room smelled bad, and there was only a fitted sheet, so I had to use a blanket that probably hadn't been washed. There was a large drop of blood on the comforter and a smear of blood on the sink. Why hasn't the health inspector shut this place down?

I travel a lot and usually choose Mom and Pop places over chains, so my expectations weren't for the Ritz. We arrived late, and the man was still super friendly even though we'd woken him up. The room was small but clean, with a comfortable bed, and I never felt unsafe despite what some other reviews say. It was clean, comfortable and cheap, so it checked all my boxes.

A loved one of mine lived here for 10 years and passed away. Housekeeping helped themselves to some of his belongings from the room. When I called the owner, she said her housekeeping was very honest and wouldn't do that. The cops have been called. If you value your things, please don't stay there.
