Grand Villa Inn & Suites Chinatown

I paid for three nights but got two, and today they tried to cut it down to one and a half, so I had to stand my ground. The manager was extremely rude, and the whole stay was uncomfortable. I'll never book here again. Even getting the room was a problem. I booked online for the next day, then arrived to check in around 12-1 a.m., as the site said. The guy argued that I'd booked for that same day and was late. After about 15 minutes of bickering and misunderstanding, he finally gave me a key. The customer care was terrible and staff communication was very poor. This place is so out of order that the experience was bad from the moment I showed up. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

While waiting for my house to be ready, I stayed here and had an amazing experience. The room was very clean, and the owner at the front desk was very nice. The cleaning lady came every day and restocked all the toiletries while I was out. I'd absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

The rooms were okay, and there was Wi-Fi, but it kept cutting out and never worked very well. The ice machine had no ice, too. Other than that, it was okay. The place was hard to find and get to.

When the whole complex lost power, we had to find somewhere else to sleep after staying only an hour, not even overnight. The manager wouldn't offer any help, discount, or refund. It was a disgusting lack of empathy toward the families affected and very poor customer service. We were told the manager would call back after arriving on site the next morning to discuss a refund or discount. That never happened. When we called, he was rude, offered no help, and hung up. Don't waste your money here.
