The staff were nice, but the room was odd. There were about 7 sheets and 2 bed covers on the bed, so I couldn’t check for bed bugs. The area didn’t feel good: around 2 am, while my mom and I were unloading, some druggies tried talking to us in the parking lot. Our room door wouldn’t lock, and there was a lot of very loud talking with plenty of colourful words.

I travel all over the country, and this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. There was a cop car out front when I arrived, and the coffee area had an odd smell. The room was beat up, and noise from upstairs woke me around 2am. You could see paint marks and burn holes in the carpet, and the towels were stained. Homeless people were hanging around, and one asked me to buy drugs. Breakfast was meh. It’s a former super 8, and I feel bad for the staff because the place is a disaster.

The room seemed clean, and the bathroom was clean too. The beds weren’t terrible and the pillows weren’t bad, but the top blanket was dirty. It was loud at night, and I wouldn’t want to be outside in the dark or sleep here without my husband as a woman with little kids. At one point at least 4 police officers were dealing with a homeless situation where things were being destroyed inside the hotel. Extended stays seem to make the place more run down. You get what you pay for, and I definitely wouldn’t pay more than 50 per night. Breakfast wasn’t as described, there was supposed to be Oatmeal but none was available. The high tables and tall bar stools aren’t suitable for little kids, and there are no infant/toddler bar seats in the breakfast area. Be careful for the breakfast police!

The rooms were very dirty, and Cockroaches were everywhere in the building. When I confronted the front desk, they said the whole 3rd floor was infested, they couldn’t move me to another room, and there were no refunds, but they could spray. A couple of staff members were very rude. Before I knew about the infestation, I’d applied for a job there, and the staff weren’t helpful at all. The manager was rude and unprofessional, always had something negative to say. Horrible experience, I would NOT recommend.

I give this hotel no stars. The manager, Andrea, is rude and unprofessional and treats guests like they’re ignorant. She doesn’t listen to the other side of a situation or find out the facts, she sees it only the way she wants to. She’ll take your money and then kick you out for no reason. She needs more training in professionalism and treating people with respect.
