Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Greeley, CO

This was my second stay here, and definitely my last. The pool was disgustingly dirty and stagnant, with black hair everywhere and wrapped around the entrance pole. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The whirlpool tub didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned either. The room heater didn’t work, so I slept in my hoodie and socks just to get some sleep. Do better, Country Inn. I shouldn’t be freezing in my room in the middle of winter!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay and will come back and recommend it to friends and family. The rooms were beautiful and clean, there was hot coffee, cookies, and dog treats in the lobby, and free hot breakfast every day. We traveled with our two dogs, and they were very happy. The place is pet friendly, with a nice area to walk them and treats in the lobby. We spent Thanksgiving week visiting relatives from out of state, arrived a day after our reservation, and the staff were accommodating and helped get us a room for the rest of our stay. There’s an indoor pool I would have liked to try, but we didn’t have time. Maybe next time!

The breakfast was just the right amount of food, even though there weren’t many items. It was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and tasted great. Service was fantastic from the moment you walked in. It felt like a true four-star hotel, with someone ready to take care of every need. Very nice and clean.

Everything else was great: clean, updated, and with good amenities. The A/C was tricky to control, though, either too cold or too hot. I was surprised by the $100 deposit at check-in and that it was refunded at checkout instead of applied to the balance, but it wasn’t a big deal.
