We spent 10 nights here recently because of a family health emergency, and it felt like a warm, welcoming place to stay. The rooms were clean and soundproof, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a filling, basic Continental spread with scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, and more, though there was no fresh fruit. The coffee was great. We met the owner, Shooter, who quickly sorted out our issue with the in-room fireplace. He was charming and seemed like a really great guy. We'll stay here again when we're up to see family. The lobby had plenty of seats and a fireplace, and breakfast nearby was a good buffet: pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, toast, and bakery items. We stayed Jan 30/31-26 in a very nice two-room suite, with a TV in each room. The sitting room had a sofa and chair, though their cushions were too hard for me. The bedroom was comfortable, with a soft bed and plenty of USB and AC outlets beside it. The HVAC held its setting, and the fan between rooms was great. It was quiet, with no noticeable noise from outside. The suite could use more than two garbage cans, the tub drain was slow but worked, and there was no Wi-Fi. The pool was nice and actually warm during our stay. The hot tub got really hot, which felt great on my sore knees. We'll stay again.

We were trying to get through the blizzard and weren't sure what to expect, since this was the closest hotel we could reach and there weren't many other options. We were relieved to find a cozy place with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and total quiet all night. The kindest guy working late helped us promptly. It was just what we needed, and we enjoyed our stay. Don't hesitate to stay here :)

The stay itself was okay, but I was disappointed by the pet fee and how checkout was handled. When I booked because my house was being refinished, the fee quoted for my cat was different from the check-in charge, almost double. They need to update that; it felt like a bait and switch. Checkout was at 11am. I went home to check the staining smell in the house, then came back to take my cat home around 12:30-1pm. I thought they might waive the overnight pet fee since I was only about an hour or so past checkout, but they didn't, even though I was still staying that night. They had every right to charge it, but I was disappointed in that customer service.
