The biggest problem was the room door. It had no deadbolt, chain, or even a working inside knob, so we left over safety and privacy concerns. Staff urged us to try another room, but we refused. They repeated that there were no refunds, so we paid $$$ for somewhere safer and cleaner. We were told that again, despite the “no refunds” signs being everywhere. At least they keep the office locked. We had to get someone to unlock the office when we arrived, after which we got a key and saw the room. Also, “Close to Lambeau Field” apparently means almost 20 minutes of driving.

I’d stayed here for a couple of years without trouble. Then I brought my boy and was told no kids, with a hand wave and no explanation beyond “no kids.” We had to go somewhere else. I’m not coming back.

The door had no deadbolt, just a cheap push button lock that could be opened without a key. I had to wedge a chair under the knob to feel secure, and I’ll never stay here again. I paid $200 a night because it’s close to Lambeau Field, even though the neighborhood wasn’t nice. At check-in, the clerk couldn’t seem to read my reservation. It included my first, middle, and last name, but she said in very broken English, “this not you.” Even after I showed my Driver’s License, she was going to turn me away. There aren’t many Bilello’s, either.

We were trying to pay for a five-day stay for three people, but they turned us away. I’m 20, the youngest in our group, and the other two were a friend who was 38 and her boyfriend, who was around the same age. We were told it was illegal to let someone under 21 stay. It seems strange that at other hotels only the person checking in needs to be 21, while here nobody can even stay on the property unless they’re 21.
