Bay Motel

That wall dial that switched on the radio, with sound coming through the ceiling speaker, was such a fun vintage touch. We also liked the clean, affordable room and the friendly staff. Lambeau is in a handy spot from here if you don't mind walking a mile, and the restaurant connected to the office was convenient. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the person who checked us in was very nice. But the room smelled old and musty, and the A/C didn't cool it at all. We asked for a fan, but the one we got was old, dirty, and barely helped. It stayed hot and humid all night. They said it was because of the hot weather, though the check-in office and dining area were cool, so their A/C there seemed to work.

The people here were so welcoming, and I enjoyed hearing the hometown stories over a good drink and some comfort food at the family restaurant. It really felt relaxed and homey. Bay Motel has accommodating staff, easy access, and a great location. The rooms have old-fashioned keys and radios, which I loved, and the bed was a lovely place to rest. If you're bougie, this probably isn't your place, but I had a wonderful stay and will be back. Thanks, Bay Motel, for the memory.

We stop here on the way up north, and it's been the nicest Mom and Pop motel we've stayed in. The rooms are quite nice, the beds are great, and the other furniture is perfectly serviceable. It's nothing fancy, just a pleasant old-school place. Parking right outside the room makes it especially convenient if you have mobility issues. The photos show what it's like.
