Comfort Suites Green Bay West

The water park was great, and we'll definitely return. The bed was comfortable and the floors were clean. Breakfast was crowded, though they kept restocking quickly when things ran low. The coffee was good, but there wasn't much choice of creamer.

The attached restaurant and the other amenities were so nice that the breakfast was a surprise. There were the usual options and some were fine, but the hot eggs and sausage were poor quality, especially the eggs. They left a lot to be desired and weren't a great start to the day, particularly after I'd had eye surgery the day before.

The rooms are better than at almost every hotel I've stayed in, and I'd put this place in my top three. The water park is fun too. The pool isn't big, but it's still good for all ages.

The staff were some of the nicest people I've met, and the room was comfortable, with a great pull-out bed. There were a few scratches on the wall and some worn spots, but otherwise the room was awesome. The location is convenient in a nice part of Green Bay, with easy access to Lambeau Field, so it's worth considering for visiting family, seeing the area, or catching the Packers. My reason for giving it three stars is the shower. The first night the water barely got above room temperature, if it even did. The next night it started completely cold for about two minutes, then stayed a little below room temperature for a while before turning cold again. That's what happened during my stay. Maybe the hotel being completely sold out contributed, or maybe it's just a small issue. It happens, and apart from that, the place is awesome.
