Hampton Inn Green Bay Downtow

We had to stop and rest while passing through in blizzard-like conditions. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The quick breakfast was well stocked, with hot coffee ready to go. The nice women at the front desk even helped us get out of the driveway in the snow. What other employees go so far above and beyond? I’ll definitely recommend staying here!

We had a really great stay apart from the parking. We were told to pay the daily rate, then went out for dinner and came back to find we had to park on the street. When we asked about getting the money back, we were told parking is first come, first served. If a spot isn’t guaranteed, they shouldn’t tell guests to use the parking app. Disappointed.

The lemon poppyseed scones and waffles were exactly why I picked this hotel, along with its location. I was in town to pick up a bike at Pete’s Garage. The condition of the place was a shock. There was kitty litter on the floor, a broken refrigerator cabinet door, and messes from other guests on walls, doors, and carpets. Kids were yelling and running toward the pool. It left me wondering why guests were so loud and rough on the building, whether they were drunk, and what the brown drip by the window was. The whole thing made me wonder what was going on.

The room was clean and the beds were good, but the pillow situation was frustrating. I’m allergic to feathers, so at check-in I asked for foam pillows. The man at the desk said he’d handle it, but after dinner nothing had changed. The woman working then said they didn’t have any spare pillows, so I had to go buy two myself. She also asked our room number and insisted nobody was in that room, saying the man hadn’t checked us in, even after I told her we were there. On Sunday morning he was at the desk on his phone. That’s not a great look for you, Hampton.
