Super 8 Green River

If they’re going to offer pet-friendly rooms, they need to clean them better. The room smelled awful, and the carpet looked so repeatedly soiled that I kept my shoes on, even when getting up during the night. I was too busy gagging to check the beds or linens. When I told the receptionist, she apologized but could only offer a can of air spray to cover the odor. The pet area was also gross. It’s a tiny strip of grass at the far end of the building, while the waste bags are on the biggest strip out front, where a sign says pets shouldn’t walk because of thorns. It’s a long way from the designated pet area, and there were piles everywhere, so there was no way to walk a pet without stepping around them. They need to put the bags and bin where pets are walked and keep that area poop-free.

I found Super 8 by Wyndham Green River on Google Maps along my route and booked because the price was very low. For a one-night stop on December 26, 2025, it was a great choice. The room was a bit outdated, but very clean and had no unpleasant smell. The heater and air conditioner worked well, so it was warm and comfortable. Parking was free right in front of the building, nearly outside my window, and the area was quiet and felt safe. Breakfast was simple but had some options, which was more than acceptable for a room with a large bed at that price. I just needed a place to sleep, shower, and rest while traveling, and this was a solid budget stay. I’d recommend it for a clean, affordable, quiet night.

I was so relieved to leave in the morning, and I won’t stay here again. We walked into a pet-designated room that smelled so bad I nearly threw up. The pictures show how gross it was, and breakfast was basic. The side door by our room was standing open, so anyone could get in without a key. I mistakenly thought I’d booked a different, much better hotel down the street for the same price. The one positive was that my husband said the staff he dealt with were friendly, helpful, and nice.

We were riding the UTAH BDR with another group and liked everything about our stay. We booked one night, then had a breakdown after leaving and needed to come back. They gave us a very good discount when we booked another night, which was great. There’s also a swimming pool.
