Fairfield Inn Greensboro Coliseum Area

Breakfast was delicious, and Tonya kept the dining area neat and clean while making sure we were looked after. She was warm, friendly, and really good at her job. Everyone was kind, and we loved staying here.

I was in town for a soccer tournament, and the lobby and breakfast space were the cleanest, nicest parts of the hotel. The front desk staff were kind and ready to help, too. In my room, the AC worked but made a loud, annoying sound, and there were some dirty marks on the shower floor. I know keeping those floors spotless can be hard, but it was disappointing to see. The location was my biggest concern, since I didn't feel very safe during my stay. Nothing else happened, but I wouldn't book here again.

There are plenty of places nearby for food and coffee, and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations and hotel details. My room was very clean. I'd stay here again for sure.

There was mold on the bathroom shower ceiling, and the room hadn't been vacuumed. After the housekeeper knocked, we said we'd be out in five minutes because we were still getting the kids ready. She stood there without answering, rolled her eyes, and walked away. When we came back, the room still hadn't been cleaned. My hijab was on the bed, and it seemed they wouldn't clean with items there, but she could have told us that. I also overheard her on the phone saying, “3pm hurry up…” as I passed by. I support diversity, but this older Afr Am woman seemed unwilling to work and had an attitude. I'd rather stay somewhere the cleaning crew takes pride in their work. I won't come back here, or to any Fairfield in the area, just to be safe and avoid having her transferred there.
