Homewood Suites by Hilton Greensboro Wendover

We've been staying here for an extended period, me, my husband, and our two cats. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool and gym are nice additions, and breakfast each morning has been delicious. The front desk staff have been kind and accommodating, making things easy and helping us feel welcome and comfortable. Dan from maintenance handled our request really well and was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I was impressed that this hotel allows animals. I saw plenty of happy pet owners. Breakfast is included and was very good. I really enjoyed the room and kitchenette. I'd certainly come back if I return to Greensboro.

The front desk staff are great, but the rest of the staff not so much. Maintenance can enter rooms without warning or a reason, even with a do not disturb sign up, and they've woken me while I was napping. Hallways are never vacuumed, and room cleaning is inconsistent and incomplete. Breakfast hardly changes from day to day, apart from the sausage, which rotates every three days. The location is convenient but doesn't feel like the safest area. There are lots of homeless people around, and people from the Motel 6 next door often sit in cars playing loud music late into the night. It's the better of the two Homewoods in Greensboro, but I wouldn't put it high on my list to return to.

I cut my leg open twice on two metal pieces sticking out from under the bed in room 350 when I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I went to the front desk twice about it. Nothing was acknowledged, though they did give me towels to wrap around the metal. On top of that, my room wasn't given fresh towels, and I hadn't put up the do not disturb sign. This was possibly the worst Hilton stay I've ever had. It was a bad experience, and I never expected to be treated so badly. I'd advise staying somewhere else.
