They’re updating the hotel, which it needed, and the place is already very clean and kept fresh. Even the towels were folded beautifully. The staff are kind, friendly, and clearly take pride in their work and how they treat guests. I’d happily stay here again.

We’ve enjoyed other Springhill Suites over the years, but this visit left us disappointed, and we won’t return to this location. The room felt smaller than usual and didn’t have enough lighting. We got to breakfast 12 minutes before closing, but nearly everything had already been put away. The premade eggs and sausage weren’t good, the waffle machine was broken, and the coffee was lukewarm. While I was pushing a flimsy luggage rack to the car, my wife’s makeup case fell onto wet sealant being rolled on the front driveway. The hotel didn’t offer to replace it. The friendly staff were the bright spot, and a manager did add points to our account because the waffle machine was out of order.

The staff here were some of the nicest people I’ve met, and after we complained about the air conditioning, they gave us a discount. I hope they fix the problems, because the hotel itself was a disaster and didn’t feel like the usual Marriott quality. Our newly renovated room had a comfortable bed, but the AC ran on a motion sensor and had no continuous-fan setting. Every couple of hours we’d wake up roasting, struggle with the unit, then finally get comfortable enough to sleep again. At 9:15 we went downstairs for breakfast; when we came back, we were locked out of our clearly occupied room even though checkout was at 11. Worse, housekeeping had deadbolted the door open with our belongings still inside. The sink and vanity work fine for one person, but two people are out of luck, and the lighting there is awful. If they fix the AC, I’d stay again.

It’s a quiet spot tucked away for a weekend, and the location is handy, close to whatever you might need. The service was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was better than at most similar hotels. My room was clean, though the couch was visibly dirty, patched in several places, and missing paint or finish. Water also pooled badly in the bathtub and stayed there all night. I could clearly hear guests walking outside the room, which might bother some people.
