Quality Inn & Suites Coliseum

Room 204 was nowhere near a quality stay. There were tiny black hairs all over the bed, and the bathroom was filthy, with black dirt on the toilet seat and a shower that was moldy and rusty. Stains covered the carpets and curtains. The surfaces by the TV and table were filthy, as if they’d only been wiped down from the previous guest, and the side of the bed looked like it had never been vacuumed.

I booked a room I couldn’t change, but the bathroom was so filthy I had to wait until I got home to wash. The mattresses were hard, and I couldn’t sleep because the loud toilet ran every 45 minutes and woke me at night. I wouldn’t stay again.

The stay started with two days without any service because I hadn't been told I needed to request maid service. I also couldn't get fresh towels. Later, the manager said she smelled smoke after I had just been outside smoking and told me I had to leave. She returned with the desk clerk, who said I could either pay a deposit or go, even though we'd already booked several more days and the manager said we'd lose that money if we left. I called my boyfriend at work, and his boss brought money over. At the desk I was told the deposit was $100, not $50, because I hadn't paid one at the start. I handed over the $50 I had, got no receipt, and was then told the manager wouldn't charge the full $100 because it was their mistake. On another shift, someone said I'd have to pay a deposit again. The staff were rude and didn't seem to know what was happening from one shift to the next. Get it together.

The rooms hadn't been cleaned, and the front desk lady repeated the rules about no smoking, lighters, candles, or anything combustible nine times when I checked in around midnight. The service was awful. If your choices are this place or your car, sleep in your car.
