We weren’t sure when we’d arrive, and the staff were awesome about it. The guy at the front desk was especially nice. The room was a little dated and the windows don’t open, which is about what you’d expect for the price, but the beds were clean and very comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure. For this price, it’s an awesome hotel.

The management was really welcoming, but I didn’t enjoy staying here. Internet cost an extra $5 a day, and there wasn’t even an ice machine, so each cup of ice cost me $1. The live-in staff were noisy and inconsiderate, playing loud thumping music that came through the walls so strongly I could hear and feel it. I eventually checked out because of the noise.

We ended up here late at night after our previous booking turned out to be overbooked. It’s a cheap motel, plain and not modern, but it worked in a pinch. It was clean, didn’t smell, the people were really nice, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed.

The owner’s response said the room was rented under my travel companion’s name. The nice woman at the liquor store on the property called him so he could rent us a room for two and our three-legged Cat. He said it had recently been remodeled. He also told my lady friend she had nothing to worry about traveling with that huge mountain man, referring to my long hair and beard and my 6'2", 300 lb build. It rained all night. The room hadn’t been remodeled. The pillows were stuffed with extra bedding and weren’t real pillows, and the beds were completely flat and uncomfortable. There were other problems too, including bare, uncapped wires hanging from the ceiling where a smoke detector used to be. I can’t say what I really feel about this place. Don’t stop, keep driving to the next hotel. We were traveling from NY to AZ and stayed around October 25 or 26 in a white Jeep Compass with NY plates. I can provide a copy of the credit card statement to prove we stayed there.

It’s clean and felt safe, with a great price. If you’re into simple, cozy, inexpensive motels with a small-town feel, this place fits. Driving up to the little motel might seem creepy at first, but it has charming pink tile and an old-home feel.
