I've stayed here several times and it's become my go-to in the area. The staff are friendly and the location is terrific. The rooms were updated sometime in the past ten years, though they aren't ultra-modern. The furnishings are good quality and work well, and the beds hit a great balance between firm and soft. Water pressure is average, decent but not amazing. For improvements, there's still carpet and a wall AC, and a few door hinges could use tightening.

The Bistro was great, with a friendly crew and a menu that had just enough choices. My room was clean and suited me well. Being right across from the hospital was key, since I could walk there.

The staff were great, but I couldn't sleep well here. My AC was extremely loud, and road noise plus helicopters overhead from the nearby hospital kept waking me up. I wouldn't stay again.

I was in town for a work event and stayed one night. My meeting ended earlier than expected, so I needed an early check-in. I'd already checked in on the app, which made it easy, and the staff were very welcoming. The updates around the hotel give it a fresh, modern look, and I liked the bar. My room was spacious and spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The king suite had a patio chair set, though I would've liked a bigger patio. Not a deal breaker, and I'd absolutely stay again. The only real snag was finding the place, as I almost drove past because the sign was small. The updates are really showing what a great hotel it is. Ten out of ten.

A few small bathroom fixes are needed, but otherwise it was a good hotel. It was peaceful and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's rest. Getting my room key was easy. It's very close to ECU, with plenty of places to eat nearby.
