The whole weekend was one of the best of the year. Our room was spotless and ready when we arrived, and the outing ran smoothly thanks to Doug in the pro shop, who had everything we needed. At the bar, Richard, Morgan, Barb, Mike, and Drew all went above and beyond. The food was so good you could tell they put themselves into it. Everything about the golf weekend exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely recommend the island green for an outing or golf weekend.

The food was so good that I was already looking forward to the next meal, especially the pulled pork. The sauces were homemade, and chefs Mike and drew clearly take pride in what they serve. The rooms were clean and ready when we arrived, and Kevin always went above and beyond. Doug in the pro shop made the outing easy to organize and was very helpful. Richard, Morgan, and barb gave us friendly bar service throughout the weekend. The course was in great shape for so early in the season. I’d absolutely recommend Island green golf course for a golf getaway or outing in the Catskills.

Kevin was a great host and took care of everything we needed. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the bar staff got drinks out with very little wait. The course was in its best shape, with beautiful green greens and well-kept fairways. BBQ lunches and dinners were phenomenal, with plenty to eat, perfectly cooked steaks, and delicious homemade sauces.

We’ve been coming here for 11 years, and our weekend with 30 guys has us already talking about coming back. Kevin, Doug, and the staff were amazing, and the golf course was in great shape. The rooms were perfect. The whole experience was off the charts, and the food was absolutely MINT !!! Thanks so much, Island Green and Dougie Fresh. This place is a hidden gem.

The people, course, and rooms are all great. It’s an ideal golf and food getaway, and once you arrive you can leave the car parked until it’s time to go. I’ll be back next year.
