We’d happily come back. The staff made us feel welcome throughout, with warm, attentive service that felt thoughtful at every turn. A few things could be better: I could hear people coming and going while I was having a treatment in the day spa, so it didn’t feel as peaceful as I’d hoped. The mattresses were quite firm, and pillow tops would make more sense at this price. The rooms had lots of snacks and skincare products, but almost everything cost extra. A few complimentary items would fit the otherwise luxurious feel better.

That private island beach was a real highlight, just a 10-15 minute ferry ride away. Breakfast was excellent, too, and the service there matched the rest of our stay. The Delamar Greenwich Hotel sits right by the water, with lovely marina views and yachts out front. The property is gorgeous, and the front desk staff welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived. Our room felt luxurious, with thoughtful details that made it feel like a high-end retreat. It was a memorable visit, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Connecticut.

Three days here, with two private dinners in the evenings. The restaurant was excellent, the service outstanding, and the views and location were great. Couldn't have asked for more.

The hotel is lovely to look at, but it didn't work well for us with a child. The room was small, the shower unimpressive, and the price felt too high. At 8:30 p.m., the front desk called because my son was supposedly jumping, when he was doing a math workbook on the floor. We were in town for a family emergency and had stayed at the Southport location the week before. The food here was just okay at both dinner and breakfast. I'd return to the other location, but not this one.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but I don't think the hotel was worth what we paid. The main areas, though not the rooms, were very dirty, much like the attached restaurant. We stayed for two nights, then came back a week later. The same dirt, maybe fallen plaster, was still in the same spots.
