Thomas is at celebrity-chef level, yet he's approachable and very nice. The service was impeccable without hovering, and there was no loud music to shout over. The food was spectacular, with amazing ingredients. The decor has a warm, charming old-world feel without seeming outdated.

We went to the Homestead Inn for my birthday dinner, and it was delicious. The room is tasteful and works nicely for an intimate meal or dinner with friends. The food is incredible and the service exceptional. Astly is a bartender worth stopping by to see, he's extremely knowledgeable and always has interesting conversation. Love this restaurant. Don't miss it!

One thing to know before staying: there’s no iron or ironing board, and no fridge in the room. The staff, though, were very friendly and attentive, and there’s a nice bar with an outdoor patio. It’s a distinctive, authentic place with a lot of history and an excellent restaurant. The rooms are large, comfortable, and each has its own design and decor.

We had great service and really enjoyed the meals. I’d come back for the food, but the Inn itself felt dated for about $300 a night on weekdays. The small room was crowded with oversized furniture, the bathtub was old, and the decor was questionable. There were also far too many artificial plants and flowers throughout.

It had a homey feel, with beautiful surroundings and great service. The homemade desserts were fresh and delicious, and every item on the plate had its own special touch. The food presentation was outstanding. A perfect dining experience.
