We left after two nights of a planned six night work stay at the end of April. My husband and I both woke up with bites, including bites on our faces and a swollen eye. We changed to a room on the other side of the hotel and were bitten there too. My doctor confirmed they were bed bug bites, so we checked out. We had to seal our belongings in contractor size bags and get my car cleaned after driving it to Denver. We lost more than three days of our trip handling this, and I had to go to work with a swollen eye and bites over my face and neck, then reschedule several appointments. Between the two of us, we counted 50 bites, including on our hands and faces. It was very uncomfortable. After we checked out and cleaned our things, we had no more bites for the rest of the trip. The hotel refunded us, but Hyatt offered no other help. Management said they would follow up about their insurance, then stopped replying after a couple of emails. They still haven't given me the insurer's name or an adjuster's details, and although they said they sent pest control, they wouldn't share any information about it. I escalated the issue to corporate, but the response timeframe they gave us passed without an update. I stayed courteous and factual through all of this, despite how much it affected us. The room layout was decent, the bed was firm but okay, and the bathroom was a reasonable size. But those things don't make up for getting bitten 50 times, losing time and money, and dealing with unresponsive management while in pain and disabled. I can't recommend this hotel. Skip it unless you're willing to risk bed bugs and a frustrating response if something goes wrong.

The breakfast was great, but the rest of the stay was hard to enjoy after the way Toby handled our arrival. We came in around 9 or 10 pm, waited about 3-5 minutes before he came around the corner, noticed us and another couple waiting for bar service, then disappeared behind the breakfast area again. When he returned a minute or so later, he didn't apologize or greet us. He just held out his hand and said, “ID and credit card for incidentals.” My sister tried to explain we already had a reservation, but he sternly repeated the demand, so we handed over her ID and card. Then he told us our two queen room would be downgraded, without explaining or apologizing. I said we'd paid for two beds. His answer was, “that’s just how it goes.” I’m almost 40 and have spent more than half my life in customer service; I found his behavior atrocious. It reflects badly on the training and management when the first person guests meet acts like that. My back hurt badly, and on my last morning I woke up to a spider right beside my face in the pullout bed. I have a picture. With the rough welcome, back pain and bug, it was hard to focus on what went well. I won't stay here again or recommend it. I'll post this on Yelp, the booking site and Google because people should know what to expect, especially if Toby is there. This was my first vacation in years, and such a letdown.

Great location and a clean room with a sensible layout. The staff were good, but breakfast was underwhelming and the coffee was awful. Our bathroom door squeaked loudly, though we never asked anyone to fix it, so that part's on us.

The two bedroom setup was just as I remembered, with two bathrooms and a full kitchen stocked with plates, silverware, glasses, and what you'd need for a longer stay. The hotel was clean, and I especially liked the outside area, including the gated fire pit, which felt like a nice security bonus. Breakfast filled us up, though there was nothing special about it. The staff didn't make a strong impression either way. The guest next door, though, was very loud and disrespectful. All in all, one of the better hotels around here.
