I found a few roaches, including one that fell out of the information book onto the bed. The book itself looked like it had roach droppings and other stuff mashed into it. One of the two beds was all springs. The place smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, which might be a good thing. I included pictures.

The bathroom pipe kept making noise, and when I complained, the manager rudely told me to leave if I wasn’t satisfied with the room. The service was very poor. They sent someone to deal with it three hours after I reported the problem. I didn’t get around to reporting it through the booking app because other urgent things came up.

The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was decent. Check-in was easy, with a friendly welcome. Nicely done.

The staff were cheerful and friendly when we booked, and they did respond quickly with a smile whenever we reported something. The sink was clogged, but the desk clerk came up and cleared it. We found hair and black specks in the first bed, so they replaced the sheets. Then we found more hair under the comforter on the second bed and cleaned that ourselves. There were spiderwebs and bugs in the corner by the lamp. A few other things needed attention too. The window curtain had a large, old tear. The coffee pot was dusty, the coffee setup felt sticky and looked dirty, and the ice bucket lid was dusty. There was so much dust on the lamp fixtures that higher wattage bulbs could be a fire concern. The microwave looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and there seemed to be mold growing on its inside top. It seems to be a family business where everyone pitches in. The staff were super friendly and quick to fix the issues we raised, but there’s more work to do. A health inspector could find problems here.
