Breakfast was mixed: the bacon was good, but the eggs were rubbery and there were no biscuits. I only gave this one star because the bacon was good. The rest of the service was awful. We had booked weeks ahead for Memorial Day weekend, and I had even called when we were two hours away to confirm. We drove six hours, arrived just after 3 PM, and the young woman at the desk first said there were no rooms, then said ours wasn't ready and couldn't say when it would be. She had barely tried to look up my reservation and seemed annoyed rather than helpful. The elevator was out, and my mom couldn't use the stairs after back surgery. An older woman eventually brought a list of rooms she'd cleaned and found us a first-floor room. The bathroom was only decent, with a discolored toilet and dirty tub, so I cleaned it myself. For four adults there were only two face towels and two bath towels. When my daughter asked for more so we could get ready for church, the desk woman shrugged in annoyance. Later we got a text saying there wouldn't be more towels until the next afternoon because of short staffing. On checkout morning, at 8 AM, a worker came up to ask when we were leaving even though checkout was at 11. Lord help us all. Lord's will, I won't stay here again.

We were traveling through with a baby and had a lot of things, and the manager, Basil, helped us bring in the luggage cart. He was really nice and made sure we had what we needed. The hotel seems to have recently been taken over and redone, so our room didn't have a fridge, but Basil offered to let us use the kitchen fridge. The room was clean, smelled good, and had a very comfortable bed. The customer service was top tier. We pass through about once a year and will stay here again.

Holiday Inn Express in Grenada, MS is a dump, not a hotel. The outlets didn't work, the towels were old and one had a couple holes, and the Kleenex box was empty and never replaced. There were no amenities, and at 7 AM every breakfast dish was empty. Paint was peeling too. An absolute dump.

The parking lot is too small, with not enough spaces, and there are no cameras. Inside, the room smelled horrible and the shower was broken and moldy. The room next door blasted its TV at 3 AM for an hour, and the front desk staff that morning were rude. I went down for breakfast an hour before it was meant to end, but all that remained was cereal. The desk said that was all they had. Worst service ever. This place is a dump, don't stay here.

The mildew smell was so strong it burned our noses, and the pool was locked, so we couldn't swim. Check-in was a mess too. We had reserved two queen beds but got a king, and the elevators weren't working. After going back downstairs, they switched us to another room on the third floor. When we went up, a man was lying in the bed. The receptionist was shocked someone was in there and gave us yet another room. We had to go back upstairs again before we finally had a room. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
