The hotel was clean and I stayed about 3 weeks. Staff were generally nice, but it's not within walking distance of anything. The water, which is a GROESBECK city issue rather than the hotel's, was awful. I'm obviously from out of state. The first time I turned on the shower, it nearly made me throw up into the tub. You can taste it everywhere in GROESBECK, including fast food fountain drinks and convenience store soda fountains. One major problem was housekeeping coming in despite my do not disturb placard. They threw out the Styrofoam protective case for my printer, which was neatly under the sink and a few feet from a trash can. That's why I had the sign on the door. The case is missing half its impact shielding now, so I can't stack the printer on top while traveling like I used to. I'd had it that way for 3 to 4 years without any trouble before coming here. I went to the front desk and explained what happened. I knew they couldn't recover the Styrofoam, so I asked for at least some free towels to keep. After some back and forth, I got them, but that doesn't really help with the problem.

The location worked perfectly for a high school playoff game, and the service was good. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was decent. We only found one nearby restaurant open on a Friday afternoon, though, and the others around there weren't open.

After a disappointing stay at a hotel in a nearby city, I tried Quality Inn and Suites and had a wonderful experience. I've traveled extensively around the world, and this place impressed me. The room felt fresh and clean, the bed was excellent, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and someone kept an eye on it the whole time. Every staff member I met was smiling and had a wonderful attitude. Thank you, Quality Inn and Suites. I'll be back!

My workers ended up spending the night in their truck in the hotel parking lot. I'd booked a room ahead, but when we checked in and opened the assigned room, other guests were inside sleeping. The front desk attendant apologized and called it an internal miscommunication, but said they couldn't help because all rooms were booked.

The location was easy to find, the room was very quiet, and breakfast was nice. Check-in was fast and the clerk was pleasant.
