For a budget stay during a shopping trip, Comfort Inn South Tulsa - Woodland Hills was better than I expected. Woodland Hills Mall is right across the street, so shopping was easy without traffic or parking hassles, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. My room was spacious, spotless, and quiet, with comfortable beds and useful extra counter space in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient at check-in and had helpful local tips. I also liked the hot breakfast, with fresh eggs, waffles, and fruit that actually tasted good. The indoor pool, fitness center, and guest laundry were nice additions, and everything seemed well maintained. Good value for the price. I’d recommend it and plan to stay again. Five stars.

We ended up driving home without staying. The room smelled moldy, the bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper, and the place felt dated and uncared for. The TV didn’t work, the rooms felt unclean, the curtains were stained, and the fridge freezer badly needed defrosting. The front desk service was great, though. Joel was awesome, and even with all the computers down, they gave us rooms. I’m a rewards member, and they were supposed to return the points we used, but I never got them. I won’t stay again.
The location is great, but cleanliness was poor. The elevator floors had dirt and debris, and liquid streaked down the aluminum beside the buttons. Nobody cleaned it during our two-day stay. The end tables had something stuck on them too. Breakfast was frustrating: no coffee or juice, very greasy potatoes, and waffle batter watered down so much the paper-thin waffles tore when I tried to remove them. Our room didn’t smell of smoke or weed. I won’t be back.
I wouldn’t recommend this place and wouldn’t spend the money here. The room flooded when it rained, apparently because of the poor roof, and the toilet overflowed and smelled horrible. I also saw a couple of pack rats on the premises. The breakfast seemed reheated from the day before, and I found the environment absolutely unsettling. The bed was infested with bed bugs. I’ve stayed in $40-a-night hotels that were better. I’ve also noticed that the hotel says there are “no records” for all its bad reviews. This place is a joke and should be shut down for extensive structural damage. Save your money!
It was a pleasant stay, quiet enough for a good night’s rest, with comfortable beds and refreshing pool. The coffee was great, and the staff were professional, courteous, and accommodating. I recommend this hotel.
