The free laundry room was a highlight: big, clean machines and plenty of space to fold clothes. The gym is well equipped, too, and the property has a lovely pondside gazebo next to woods, away from traffic and business noise. It feels safe, and the staff are dependable, warm, and attentive. My room was quiet and held a steady temperature, with better sound insulation and privacy than other places nearby. The hotel is clean and comfortable, welcomes pets, and has a front desk open all night, so check-in is available any time after 3 p.m. There are also appliances available at the front desk, like blenders, crock pots, and toasters. I can't say enough good things about the place and would recommend it every time, for work or fun. A++ I'll update the photos. The ones here show the back pond area.

We came back about a month after our first stay for another Mayo clinic visit. The Mayo clinic rate has gone up, so I'm not sure it's still a good value. We were mostly happy the first time and had let some things slide because renovations were underway. Now it seems the work has mainly been on the outside. The rooms still feel dated, and in both rooms the floor lamps showed wear, with dingy, cracked shades. On this return, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which surprised me given the large cleaning fee they spell out at registration for smoking in a room.

The place looked run down from outside, and the rooms were dirty too. I found hair in the sink and shower, along with roaches. I should have gone somewhere else before even checking in. Stay far away.

Alex at the front desk was really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, which was what we needed for an affordable last-minute stay. It was a little beat up, but I'd stay here again.
