Best Western Executive Inn

The service is why I’ll return. The guy I talked to the night before listened to what I needed and said he understood, so even though I arrived after midnight, getting into my room was easy. It was clean and comfortably warm, with a decent-sized TV. I grabbed coffee and a little food in the morning. The breakfast area is small and the choices are limited, though that was fine for me. I’d still suggest adding more options. Five stars from the start, and the service was a 100 for me.

I want my $600+ back. I spent no more than five minutes in either room, and I wouldn’t stay here even if someone paid me. Both rooms I looked at had bloody sheets and mattresses, across all four beds. One bed also had large visible white soiled stains on the brown blanket. The place stinks, wasn’t clean, and there were bed bugs. I took pictures because this review does reflect the hotel’s condition. I’m still waiting for a refund. Best Western told me to contact Expedia, and Expedia sent me back to Best Western. Now I’m apparently waiting for Best Western managers to talk to Expedia, and I’m afraid I’ll have to call everybody again in the morning. Expedia has tried to reach the owner without success, and the owner hasn’t contacted them. I’m tired of playing phone tag. Apparently nobody wants to communicate anywhere but in this review, so here we are. Make this right.

I stayed here for a while and couldn’t always pay by checkout. Most days I needed a few extra hours to get the money together, and they didn’t mind, so that’s why I’m giving it five stars. The hotel itself is pretty basic looking, and the rooms are mediocre. There’s a gas station nearby for snacks and things.

The room smelled so bad when we arrived that my girlfriend and I got headaches. There were flies inside, it looked barely cleaned, and the main lobby wasn’t much better. We returned the keys right away and politely asked for a full or partial refund. I was told I had to contact booking.com, but after speaking with them it was clear that was a flat-out lie. I called back about four times. Each time I got an excuse about needing to talk to a manager and get back to me within some amount of time. They never did, despite saying they would more than once. After about five calls with staff, I was finally told they would not refund me. That would have been less insulting if they hadn’t lied and failed to call back as promised. Absolutely ridiculous, scummy behavior. I refuse to stay somewhere that puts a guest in a room in that condition.
