Lillaskog Lodge

For my birthday weekend, we booked two nights for 15 people and wanted a quiet place away from everything. It really felt that way, and the sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The house matched its description, with plenty of space for everyone. Each room had extra roll-out beds available, which came in handy when the kids wanted to bunk together in the big upstairs room. We also booked an in-house breakfast for one morning. Two cooks arrived early and had a beautiful spread ready when we woke up: French toast, eggs frittata, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, hash browns, fresh fruit, croissants and muffins, bagels, and freshly ground coffee. It was a great addition to our stay. The host communicated well and was easy to reach, answered all our questions, and cleared up any concerns. Five stars all around. Thanks so much!

I catered a wedding here and loved the private feel and the beautiful sunset over that million-dollar view. The big lodge-style home was easy to find, and its log cabin has great wood details throughout. The kitchen was large, with two refrigerators, and easy for me to work in as a caterer. I’d strongly recommend it for a smaller, private wedding.

We had our wedding here in June 2025, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Liza and Tom made the whole DIY process easy and low-stress, and their staff were proactive and helpful with cleanup the next morning. I think the caretaker was Scott. He was a hoot, full of funny stories and jokes, and as productive as he was friendly. We were so glad we booked the lodge for an extra day. It made cleanup much less stressful and gave my husband and me a chance to spend our first night as a married couple in the most beautiful, romantic space either of us has ever been in. After saying goodbye to our friends and family, we watched the sun set over the canyon and looked through the photos and videos guests had sent, remembering all the little moments from the day. My advice for a DIY wedding here is to book that extra night. You’ll be more tired than you expect, and there’s nothing like settling into that joyful exhaustion after the best day of your life.

The views across the property were breathtaking and made for a beautiful wedding ceremony and celebration. Our stay and wedding day were perfect, and the lodge felt warm and homey. Everyone who stayed with us said the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was labeled and easy to use for cooking and entertaining. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. We had an amazing experience and would love to plan another visit with them.
