The maid service was the best, and our rooms were so clean. Nobody bothered us, the owners didn’t complain about my big dog, and they didn’t overcharge us. The customer service was A-plus, and everyone was very kind. We loved staying here. It was peaceful, and I can’t say enough good things about it.

I stayed in room 210 for a week. The cabinets had roaches, the air conditioner leaked, the beds were badly stained, and the non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes. The front desk staff were rude, and the woman there was often asleep on shift. In my opinion, 0/10. In response to the owner, I know you aren’t America’s Best Value. I’d made a reservation by phone the day before arriving, but when I got there the desk clerk seemed half asleep and didn’t want to check for available rooms, saying there was no reservation. Later, the front desk woman and her son confronted me rudely, and they knocked on a family member’s room and barged in.

The parking is fine, though it fills up quickly, and the rooms are okay aside from needing updates. The beds could be better, too. I’d also like the maids to speak some English. I’m not saying that because I’m racist, but because this is the USA. The oldest maid does the best job.

For four months, the Wi-Fi and the washer and dryers never worked. The room itself was okay, and it was cleaned daily, but one staff member was extremely rude every time I went to pay the weekly rent, for no reason. They also don’t follow Texas’s 30-day tax law. They say they don’t charge taxes in the first place, but we all know that isn’t true. You get what you pay for, really.
