Santa Nella House

It’s a beautiful, very modern home with a wonderful kitchen, and I had a private bathroom. There are lots of stairs to get into the house, which was the one downside. Luckily, there are two bedrooms downstairs, so I didn’t need to climb the steep stairs.

We stayed at the Santa Nella house for a week on a family vacation, and it was hard to imagine a better choice. The hosts were gracious, accommodating, and easy to work with. We loved the roomy open kitchen, a bathroom in every bedroom, the hot tub, and the peaceful creek sounds out front. After exploring the area’s beautiful landscapes, our group enjoyed the books, board games, and streaming options for downtime. Korbel Vineyards is a quick 20 minute walk away. If you’re visiting wine country, look no further!

Mike and Debbie were lovely hosts, and this was a wonderful stay. The place has the character and vintage feel of a house dating from 1870, with a tranquil, friendly atmosphere. There’s a great front porch, hot tub, and dry sauna. Breakfast at 9am was delicious, and the other guests seemed friendly too, making for great breakfast conversation. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends.

The detached cottage was private and simply decorated. I could read in the woods just behind it, or go down a short flight of stairs to the hot tub and main house. The home is lovely, in a sweet, quiet setting, with a gorgeous veranda. Mike was a gracious host and wonderful cook, and went out of his way to make delicious breakfasts that fit my diet. The upstairs rooms are large and lovely. My only caveat is that one downstairs room, I think he calls it the Library Room, is small. This is my favorite of the many B&Bs I’ve stayed in.
