I liked how close it was to the shopping plaza, grocery store, and restaurants, and there’s a Waffle House right next door sharing the parking lot. I stayed two nights and had a good time at this very nice budget hotel. The room didn’t quite match the website photos, though it wasn’t bad and seemed to have been remodeled. My two issues were the damp smell and the metal bed base, which squeaked whenever I moved. Aside from that, it was a very nice stay.

The pool was great, and there’s a little fireplace where families can spend time together. Restaurants are just around the corner and easy to walk to. I loved the location, and when I opened the room door, I was surprised by how beautiful it looked inside. It was very clean, nicely painted, and smelled good. We called ahead to ask about availability, and Niko was professional and friendly. We only needed one night, and he said, “I’d guarantee your stay will be unforgettable.” It really was.

Eddie at the office was fabulous, and the location was terrific. We spent four days there and were comfortable and happy the whole time, in cozy rooms with lovely decor. Just be aware that they’re very stingy with towels, and there aren’t enough parking spaces. We’ll still recommend the place, with those two things in mind.

That pool was so much fun after a full day out, and having Waffle House next door was perfect for us. We stayed in July 2025 and absolutely loved this roadside motel. Everyone working there who we met was kind and professional. We’ll try to come back this summer!

We had a great time at the pool and met some cool people there. Terry, who does maintenance, was awesome, friendly, and made us feel welcome. The room and amenities were fantastic, and the whole place felt homey and cute while still being professional and super clean. We stayed three nights. The location’s perfect, with Waffle House next door, shops and restaurants nearby, and the beach only a few minutes away by car. We’ll definitely return and stay only at Gulf Coast Inn! ❤️
