Quality Inn Biloxi-Ocean Springs

The water stayed hot and the fridge was properly cold. The front desk staff were helpful and very nice. My husband and I have been trying a different Biloxi hotel every weekend since the year began, and most have disappointed us. This one was lovely even with renovations underway. I've worked at a very nice hotel, so I know what a clean room should look like, and this room was clean top to bottom.

This has moved right to the top of our list. We were in Mississippi every weekend last month, and this was one of the better places we've stayed for our date weekend. There was plenty of renovation work going on, but it didn't bother me. It just means they're improving the place. Book ahead, because rooms go quickly.

Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were comfortable and nice, though the beds seemed full size despite being listed as queens. Breakfast was good, served from 6-9am. It feels like an old hotel that's been remodeled: the elevator is very old, and there's a nice bar area they don't use anymore. The coffee maker didn't work, and I nearly burned myself trying it. The phone was out too, so I had to use my own phone to call the front desk after letting them know.

This hotel really put a damper on our last-minute weekend getaway. There was blood on a pillow when we entered the room. The door squeaked, the sink wouldn't drain, and there were holes in the wall. The shower had no pressure, and water came out into the tub instead of the showerhead. The pool looked nice, but the water was so dirty we wouldn't get in. Nobody came to clean our room all weekend, and we had to go to the front desk for towels ourselves. We won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it.
