Holiday Inn Express Gulfport Beach by IHG

The staff made this stay especially pleasant. Everyone, from the clerks to the kitchen employees, was so personable. The lobby and dining room have an awesome view, and even our side bedroom had a nice one. The building looks dated outside, though the inside has been remodeled beautifully. I liked the showerhead, with three settings and plenty of water, and it was easy to rinse the soap out of my long hair. Breakfast meets IHG standards and is always good. The hotel is only a mile from the View Casinos, the largest in Mississippi. I’ll definitely come back.

Mary Ann made breakfast feel special every morning. The food was fresh and hot, and she paid attention to guests, whether that meant bringing someone a missed napkin, checking if they needed anything, or just having a friendly chat and a warm smile. When she was working, everything seemed to run smoothly and the room had a cheerful feel. Her care made the stay more personal, and Holiday Inn is lucky to have her. I’d gladly stay here again for people like Mary Ann, as well as the comfort and amenities. My recent visit to Holiday Inn Gulfport Beach was wonderful.

The Gulf view is great, and the place felt very safe and clean. It was easy to find and parking was simple. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, along with Long Beach and Pass Christian. Bay St Louis is 15 miles west, and Ocean Springs is 22 miles east.

The room had a sour smell, maybe from carpet that had gotten wet before. We were charged twice for our room and still haven’t received a refund for that or the $50 holding fee. If you’ve stayed here, check your bank account to be sure you weren’t charged more than you should have been. Our bank has filed a fraud report and is disputing the charge, but we don’t know when we’ll get the money back.
