Peninsula Bed & Cocktails

We stayed at the Peninsula Bed & Cocktails during Grand Prix weekend in St. Petersburg and barely used our car, except for the short drive to the race. Restaurants and music venues are close by, and the place was clean. The touchless check-in and check-out worked smoothly. It was our first visit, and we plan to return.

Each room has its own look and story. We stayed in the mimosa room, one of the smaller ones, and it was very cute. For a one-night visit, we didn't need much space, though larger rooms are available. The staff were all super friendly, the hotel was immaculately clean, parking was ample, and the bar had a cool atmosphere with delicious restaurant food. Our room was on the third floor, and the elevator was out, so we had to use the stairs. They should mention that before check-in, since some people may not be able to climb stairs, especially with luggage. Check before booking if stairs are difficult for you. Even so, we'd stay again and highly recommend it.

We came to Gulfport for music by an artist we follow, playing at Stella’s right across the street. The area was charming and laid back, and the location worked perfectly. We also enjoyed breakfast downstairs at Mademoiselle Paris, a lovely French restaurant. Erin, the manager, was personable and engaging, handled orders and service efficiently, and made guests feel welcome. It was our first no-contact lodging stay, and the process worked perfectly. Our accommodations were beautiful, with plenty of room in the king room, a very comfortable bed, and thoughtful snacks and drinks. We had a great stay and may well be back.

Steps from the Gulfport waterfront, with local places for food, ice cream, and coffee nearby, this was a lovely spot for a relaxing or romantic weekend. Parking was easy to find, and the check-in instructions were simple. Downstairs, there's a wonderful lounge and French restaurant with a Paris flair. Our room was clean, comfortable, and full of character, with a large bathroom, modern fixtures, and a comfy bed. Since every room has a different design, I can't wait to return and try another one.
