Long Holiday Motel

The room was small, though that didn’t bother us for a one-night stay, and there’s no breakfast. Some pastries or something might be a nice addition. Otherwise, everything worked, and the place was super clean, unique, and well cared for. The staff were friendly, the location was great, and the water pressure was fantastic with nice hot water. I didn’t see the pet fee or the rule about dogs not being allowed on the bed when I booked. My son brought his two small dogs, and the fee came to a little over $56 including tax. That felt like a lot, especially since he ended up sleeping on the floor with one dog so it wouldn’t bark all night.

My room was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette, a real coffee maker, cable channels, and Wi-Fi. There wasn’t breakfast, but that wasn’t a big deal to me. It’s an old-school, no-frills motor lodge, and the very nice owner has done a good job keeping its original feel.

It felt cozy and clean, and I didn’t feel icky staying here. The bathroom was big, the landscaping and property were beautiful, and it’s not even two miles from town. The owners and managers were very friendly. We recommend this motel if you want a Colorado cabin experience!

The hard bed made for a terrible night’s sleep for me and my boyfriend, and we woke up with our noses full of snot. Gross, I know, but we’d been fine before bed. The location was absolutely beautiful, and there was a cute little kitchen and a nice bathroom, which is why I’m giving two stars. The receptionist’s husband kindly let us park our trailer in the yard, though he didn’t talk and gave off a weird vibe.
