We had a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, the beds were great, the bathrooms roomy, and the hotel is pet friendly. I’d come back despite a few hassles. We were charged the full rate even though breakfast wasn’t available, the guest laundry wasn’t ready, and I never found the ice machine. I think guests should be told about unavailable advertised services at check-in, with even a small discount for the inconvenience. Also, I reported a running toilet the morning we arrived, but it still hadn’t been fixed when we left three days later. Hearing water run day and night was inconvenient, though it didn’t change how much I liked the hotel.

The staff were pleasant, but I wouldn't return. Our room still had the previous guests' trash, and there was hair in the bed. We had booked two beds for four people, but on arrival were offered only a king room, with no other options. We found a pullout couch in it and made that work, though the young man at reception didn't seem to know how to help. He initially charged $30 more than the reservation, then corrected it. He also didn't know where the couch bedding was, so we had to call someone at 9 pm. When we asked whether breakfast was served, the two staff members weren't sure.

The room was probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in, and everything looked new. I was told it hadn't been occupied since the renovation, though maybe the housekeeping is just that good. The owner was friendly and helpful at the desk. Since the hotel is smoke free, I asked for a room near the back door so I could go outside to smoke. He gave us the last room by that door, no problem. We stayed two nights, and for the price it was much better than I expected. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were really nice and the room itself was pleasant, but it felt like housekeeping had left a checklist unfinished and the room was still rented out. There were no liners in the bins, and the coffee maker had no cups. Drywall bits were in the shower, so I kept my sandals on, and the sink counter hadn't been wiped after the last guest. There's no soap holder in the shower, either. When we arrived, there seemed to be a drug deal happening off to the side.
