Blushing Rose Bed & Breakfast

Tammy took such good care of us, even carrying our luggage up the steep stairs. She was a perfect hostess. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was delicious eggs Benedict. This is an excellent B&B, and I recommend it.

The town is quaint and lovely, and the location makes it easy to get around on foot. Our room was spacious and comfortable, too. Tammy was personable and helpful with planning activities, and her healthy breakfasts were delicious. Since we’re early risers, we appreciated having muffins and coffee before the full breakfast so we could walk to the lake. Blushing Rose is one of the most delightful places we’ve stayed.

The Moonbeam room was really comfortable, and the food, coffee, and conversation were all great. I was traveling alone and felt a little nervous about staying in a B&B by myself, but Tami, Scott, and Bixby were so friendly and welcoming. I had a great experience at the Blushing Rose and would absolutely stay with them again. It’s also perfectly located for walking to the lake or into town for dinner.

We liked relaxing on the front porch with a glass of wine and a bit of a lake view. It’s a short walk to both the lake and town square, and Tami had great suggestions for food, wine, and activities. Meeting the other guests and chatting over breakfast was nice too. We really enjoyed our stay and would look to come back if we’re in the area.
