Americas Best Value Inn

The bathroom was clean, but the shower and sink only had scalding water, with no cold water at all. I couldn't shower, so I had to run a tub and wait for it to cool. Staff showed little help or sympathy when I raised several issues. Noise was another major problem: activity around the hotel carried through the thin walls and floors, and sleeping would be tough unless you sleep very deeply. The place also had a seedy feel and seemed to attract criminal activity. I booked based on the location and earlier reviews, and regret it. I've put up with some bad hotels, but this was among the worst, and the first one bad enough that I felt I had to leave a negative review. I hope this helps someone avoid the same experience.
