The Inn Spot

We only stayed one night, but the waterfront location and cozy bungalow style room suited us perfectly. It had the expected amenities, and check-in and checkout were simple and easy. The on-site restaurant, Crash Cantina, was excellent.

Great location and very good food, but go in expecting an unusual restaurant setup. We waited 30 minutes to be seated, and there was no hostess or waiter. Nobody told us orders had to be placed through an app. Try going early or late, and expect a wait. Satisfaction depends on expectations. Strange place.

Cute spot, and being able to walk straight from our room to the water was lovely. The rooms are tiny but nicely appointed. The bathroom had a neat skylight and a gorgeous rainfall showerhead. There was little concierge help when we checked in, and no coffee service. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.

The dock was off limits, which was my one complaint. Still, bringing my new family back was a good call. The rooms smelled fresh, were clean, and had modern amenities. I used to come with family and friends, and we’d book every unit for a weekend each year for more than 10 years. About 20 years later, the place had gone from the Bayview house to the Inn spot.
