I almost kept driving when I saw what looked like a rough crowd, especially with my 2 teenage children with me. The place rents by the week and month, and I hesitate to write this because the woman running it was so nice, but clearly overwhelmed. She has no staff at the moment. Check-in was kind, and we were offered two rooms on the far side of the building. We took the end room because the other seemed occupied, though nobody was there at the time. The full amount had already been paid when the reservation was made. The room was dirty, with squashed bugs on almost every wall. We didn’t use the shower. Whether we wanted a fire alarm was apparently left up to us, since the cover and batteries were on a shelf. The pool was very murky, the towels and bedding were stained, and people were very noisy at night.

The bed was so comfortable, I loved the setting, and the kids had a blast in the pool. The staff were all really nice, especially the owner, I believe. After reading the reviews, I was pretty nervous before my stay, but I was amazed from the beginning. I’ve found my new place to stay in Hampton and can’t wait to come back. UPDATE! We just had another amazing stay, this time with the whole crew. We booked 5 rooms and couldn’t complain about a thing. The rooms are renovated and clean, there’s an amazing fire pit and grills, and everyone is wicked friendly. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m up here. Already planning another girls getaway in the winter! ♡

We had two lovely, roomy rooms that connected, so our big family could stay close. One opened right by the pool, and there was even a picnic table where we could eat together. The rooms had a coffee pot, fridge, and microwave, which worked great for us. The beach was nearby, and shops and grocery stores were easy to reach too. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a lot of fun here.

The beds were really comfortable, and the rooms had plenty of space. The front desk woman was so lovely, and the maintenance team was great whenever we needed something. We had an awesome stay and will definitely be back next year!

The woman who checked me in was very pleasant, and my room was clean. I checked for bed bugs because I get really paranoid about them at any hotel, and there weren't any. The beds were very soft and sagged a bit, but I still slept well and didn't wake up with back pain. The heat wasn't great, though it kept me warm enough. A coffee maker would've been nice, but there's a dunks a couple miles up the road, so it wasn't a big deal. I'd stay here again.
