Nautical Beach Resort

We got lucky and were upgraded to a room with two queen beds instead of two doubles. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and really friendly. The beach was convenient to get to from here. I’d bring my family back. Thanks, Nautical, for a great stay.

The location was great, but the room didn’t match the pictures and was very small. The bathroom was disgusting, with long curly hairs stuck to the wall and dirt along the edges. I wiped the doorknobs and the wipe came away dirty, and the ceiling was covered in yellow stains. I felt like crying, but didn’t complain because I didn’t want to spoil the kids’ vacation. I took photos and plan to ask my credit card company for a refund.

The woman who checked us in was very nice, and they moved us to another room quickly. Unfortunately, neither room was clean. In the first one, there was hair in the tub and the toilet didn’t look clean, with a stain beneath the rim. The second room still had stains under the rim, and its coffee maker didn’t work. We tried the one from the first room, but the coffee was weak. The motel is run down, the rooms aren’t clean, and the coffee makers don’t work. There’s no ice machine or ice cube trays, though a neighbor gave us theirs. The location is good, just a short walk from the beach. I wouldn’t blame the employees, but management. For nearly $200 a night, this place feels like highway robbery. I felt I had to leave a review.

We stayed July 3rd-6th at a beach house on the second floor of 3 M Street, after checking in at the motel. Igor, a kind man on a scooter, greeted us and showed us over. The place is right at the start of the boardwalk, with restaurants, bars, activities, shops, convenience stores, and the beach all close by. The views were amazing, and having two balconies was really nice. Thanks so much to Igor for checking in and making sure we were having a great stay. You and your staff are great!
